Memorial Day Farmhouse Sign
To make this patriotic farmhouse sign, you need:
- Wooden board for base cut to 8.5 by 11 inches
- White spray paint
- Graphite paper
- Pencil
- Extra fine paint pen
- Sand paper
- Memorial Day poem
- Toy soldiers
Start by spraying a base coat of white paint onto your board.
Once it is dry, place the graphite paper between the poem printable and your board. Trace the poem with a pencil, transferring the words onto your sign.
Go over the pencil marks with the paint pen. Once it is dry, erase any stray graphite marks.
Use the sandpaper to distress the edges of your sign.
Place the sign with a container of toy soldiers for your guests to take home.
