What are you most looking forward to when it comes to Halloween? Carving pumpkins? Trick or treating? Awesome Halloween decorating?
Maybe it’s all the wonderful Halloween movies and shows that will be airing on television to help get you in the mood.
Since we love our Disney Halloween movies (we’re looking at you, Hocus Pocus and Halloweentown), we were super excited to find out that Disney + is working on an all new, original Halloween movie called Spooked.
The film is set to follow a group of trick-or-treaters, as they are magically transformed into the costumes they are wearing for the holiday. However, the movie is promised to be a comedy, in line with movies like Hocus Pocus, not a scary film.
Irish filmmaker, Peter Foott, is currently slotted to direct Spooked, and casting decisions haven’t yet been released. Current rumors suggest that the film should be available on Disney+ for Halloween 2021.
Until then, Disney is sure to be bringing out tons of Halloween favorites in the next couple of months. We can’t wait to see which movies and episodes will be popping up on Disney+ just in time for Halloween this year.
