Step 5

Plug-in your waffle maker and allow it to warm up. If it has a setting to change the heat, I suggest using a light setting so you don’t get browning on the top of the waffle.

Spray the waffle maker with non-sticking cooking spray.

Step 6

Carefully pour the mixture into the waffle maker and close. Allow it to cook for 1-2 minutes checking it to ensure it isn’t burning or turning brown.

Step 7

Remove waffle from the waffle maker using a fork and place onto plate.

Notes:

Want to change up these yummy waffles? Instead of maple syrup use a scoop of ice cream. It can be a new Christmas morning tradition. Something specially for the breakfast table, and it’s the perfect breakfast to say Merry Christmas since Christmas is a very indulgent holiday.

You can also drizzle it with a cream cheese glaze or chocolate sauce. Or eat them plain with some melted butter. There are so many ways to make this delicious breakfast sit your own taste.
