Using pool noodles to make homemade toy swords (or lightsabers).   My boys favorite toys are lightsabers made from pool noodles.   The ones pictured above were party favors given to us at a birthday party.

Practice Gross Motor Skills with Noodle Jumping – I can see a variation of this, pool noodle Limbo!   Perfect for the active preschoolers in your life.

Have your kids summer craft while in the pool by creating a Floating Sponge Sculpture.   This bloggerused pieces of the noodles to create floating sculptures – use pipecleaners and/or toothpicks to connect the pieces.

Add pool noodles to your summer craft bucket.   Use pool noodles to paint, dip them into paint and make prints with the noodles.

DIY Pool Noodle Blocks, cut the noodles up – they are great for stacking, especially for tots.
