My favorite thing about this Dr Seuss art project for kids is that you can use it with kids of any age – just one child or an entire classroom full of kids with a little set up.

Step 1

In this step, we are showing you how to make Cat in the Hat and Spot handprint art. The first thing you need to do is to paint your hand with acrylic paint, and then stamp it onto the paper. Repeat this same step for all over the other Dr. Seuss characters you see in the featured image at the top of the page. Set your paper aside to dry before moving on to the next step, and make sure to wash your hand when changing colors.

Handprint art tip:  If the paint begins to dry, go over it again before stamping.
