Supplies Needed For Picture Puzzle Craft

How To Make a Picture Puzzle Craft

Step 1

First, you’ll need to line up your craft sticks to fit beneath your photo.

Step 2

Use the painter’s tape to hold the sticks in place.

Step 3

Cover the back of your photo with glue using the glue stick and place on top of the craft sticks.

Notes: If the glue stick is too difficult to work with, try applying regular school glue to a sponge to cover the back of the photo.

Step 4

Allow to dry completely.

Step 5

Once it is dry, use the Exacto knife to cut along the edge of each craft stick, separating it from the group.

Step 6

Now your puzzle is ready to solve!

For the last seven years, my grandmother has lived with me and my husband. She has been an integral part of our lives and has been there every step of the way as my son has grown up.

But in recent years, there are fewer and fewer things they can do together. As he’s gotten older, his interests have become more active and my grandmother, who has arthritis, can’t keep up like she used to.

When we sat down to work on our Picture Puzzle, I knew we had to keep a few things in mind because of my grandmother’s arthritis. She doesn’t like to squeeze bottles because of the arthritis in her hands, so traditional glue was out. And scissors can be hard to navigate as well, so we came up with another solution.
