T Is For Tiger. Letter T Craft

Making an ‘T is for tiger craft’ is a fun way to introduce a new letter of the alphabet. This Letter T Craft is one of our favorite letter T activities for preschoolers because the word tiger starts with R and the letter craft is shaped like the letter T. This letter T preschool craft works well at home or in the preschool classroom. Be sure to grab your printable letter T template as well!

Easy Letter T Craft

Preschoolers can either draw the letter T shape themselves or use our letter T template. Our favorite part of this letter craft is attaching the construction paper and pom poms to make a tiger!

Supplies needed Letter T Craft

• letter T cut out on white paper or construction paper or printed letter a template – see below
• Black pipe cleaner
• 2 small black pom poms
• 2 googly eyes
• scissors or preschool training scissors
• glue

Instructions for Letter T Preschool Craft: Tiger

Step 1 – Create the Letter T Shape

Trace and cut out letter T or download, print and cut out this letter T template:

Step 2 – Give Craft a Canvas Foundation

Glue the letter T onto the piece of construction paper of a contrasting color.

Step 3 – Add the Tiger Details to the Letter T

1. For the tiger’s eyes: Glue the googly eyes on the top of the letter T.
2. For the tiger’s ears: Cut out triangles and glue them to the top of the t.
3. For the tiger’s face: Take some white construction paper and cut out half circles for the mouth and snout. Don’t forget to glue the pom pom for the tiger’s nose.
4. For the tiger’s whisker: Use a black marker to draw whiskers.
5. For the tiger’s stripes: Take the black pipe cleaner and cut the small and glue them to the T.
