Step 3

Cut out the images that you colored in (an adult should help with this). Glue them onto the paper plate that you painted earlier. Add a little more glue around the images and press some fake snow on top. Set the plate aside to dry before moving on to the final step.

If you want more glitter and sparkle on your plate, then use glitter glue to add stars. You can also add as much glitter as you want to the reindeer, Rudolph’s nose, and Santa’s sleigh. Make sure you set it aside to dry completely before doing the final step.

Our Experience Making This Snow Globe craft

  • My son adores snow globes. He has a massive collection that decorates his room. Shelves upon shelves of them from events, states, even other countries. He loves them.
  • Which is why I knew we had to make this snow globe craft. And he loved it. He loved the glitter, the coloring, the paper cutting. Like it was so easy for him to make.
  • He wanted to add some extra stuff to his, which was totally fine. He turned the Christmas trees a little more festive by decorating them with mini pom poms. This really is the best winter crafts, that I think all kids will love.
  • I liked how instead of using figurines or miniatures like legos or other small toys inside of the snow globe, we could use favorite coloring pages instead.
  • Also, if you would prefer to use favorite family pictures instead of the coloring pages, you could make a paper plate photo snow globe with this same technique!
