Supplies Needed To Make an Origami Wreath

Steps To Make an Origami Wreath

Step 1

With the first piece of paper: Fold in half horizontally.

Step 2

Open.

Step 3

Fold bottom edge up to center crease.

Step 4

Open.

Step 5

Fold top edge down to center crease.

Step 6

Open.

Step 7

Fold in half vertically.

Step 8

Open.

Step 9

Fold left side over to center crease.

Step 10

Open.

Step 11

Fold right side over to center crease.

Step 12

Flip over.

Step 14

Fold diagonally from corner to corner.

Step 15

Open.

Step 16

Fold diagonally from other corner to corner.

Fold corner to center.

Repeat with remaining three corners, forming little triangles from the creasing.

Flip over.

Step 22

Fold top and bottom edges to meet along the horizontal center crease.

Fold corners of the paper to center, allowing edge to accordion according to the creases.

Repeat with remaining three corners of the paper.

Holding with the horizontal fold down, squash fold the top and bottom edges along pre-existing creases to get 3D shape of first module for origami wreath.

Use a dab of glue on the bottom of the triangle facets on the side of one module to attach to the matching top space of the next module.

Repeat until all six modules are glued together in a chain.

Use bigger square sheets of paper or make more modules to make a bigger wreath.
